[From Finland to Japan] United cooperates with Rovio and provides Angry Birds to NTT DoCoMo users


Japan's UNITED and Rovio concluded a publishing contract to publishing of the Angry Birds in NTT DoCoMo's service “Sugotoku Contents(スゴ得コンテンツ)”. They start providing “Angry Birds” and “Angry Birds Toons”  in June 3. This is another development of only in Japan for Rovio.

The United is a company running smartphones' home screen custom apps CocoPPa. CocoPPa passes 25 million users and popular abroad than Japan.
“Sugotoku Contents” is a service provided by NTT DoCoMo in which about 100 types of contents, including news, weather, games, and fortune tellings, and videos can be used on an unlimited basis for 380 yen per month (tax excluded).


According to the press release of United, they will collaborate for further branding of Angry Birds series in Japan and keep the consistent efforts to create the new entertainment.
